We are having the same problem in Fort Worth Texas. The (5.00.9106.1022) update failed to install on all of our 8 computers on 9/14, 9/15, and 9/16, but we did not have any notice. We were closed on 9/17-19, and the system is trying again today (9/20), to download and install the update. So far, no progress, but I will check again tomorrow. Please let us know what is going on !!!!

We're getting the same thing. Computer Check indicates updates Available. The Windows update panel indicates the Configuration Manager Client is downloading 0% no matter how long it's open. It will eventually say to try again but with the same result.
After attending the Center Chatter call tonight, I explained this issue and was told to ignore it. It happened several months ago also, It's a known issue and it being worked on. Oh well.

When I called in to FSC help (and Elder Richins said in either the chatter or tech meeting), I was told not to worry about it. It will get fixed eventually
