I members were supposed to get all app free. So far they are all asking a fee, other than Family search. What am I doing wrong?

You need to start from the member subscription page (previously called partner access) found here: https://www.familysearch.org/access/member-subscriptions
Make sure that you are signed in with your FamilySearch account (and that your FamilySearch account is connected to your Church membership). Then you can use the options on that page to create a free account (or use an existing account) in those various services and link it to your FamilySearch account.
