.
You do not have to "Merge"/"Combine" in the case that you describe.
.
You can "Remove" the incorrect individual/person that is currently your Grandmother; and, "Replace" the incorrect individual/person with the correct individual/person.
.
For your Grandmother ...
.
On the "Person/Details" page/screen for the individual/person, go down to the "Family Members" Section; then, to the "Parents and Siblings" part on the right-hand-side of the page/screen; then, to the "Parents" (ie. "Couple"); then, select the "Pencil" Icon, again on the right-hand-side.
.
.
You will then be presented with a "Pop-Up" (aka: "Modal") 'Window' for "Couple Relationship", in that "Pop-Up" (aka: "Modal") 'Window' go to the "Wife"; and, then, select the "Remove" or "Replace" [which will "Remove" or "Replace" that Wife from that "Couple Relationship"].
.
.
You will then be presented with, a 'standout', "Pop-Up" (aka: "Modal") 'Window' to, either, "Remove" or "Replace" that Spouse from that "Couple Relationship".
.
.
Action as required.

Here is a "Knowledge Article" in "FamilySearch" on the matter:
.
A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

I hope this helps.
