Is the following microfiche available for loan at the FHL?
I recently visited my local family history library hoping they could help me learn more about this book:
That was not the case, so what other options exist? At the very least I'd like to see a few pages from this book so I can tell how it differs from others that are simular. (i.e. "Dictionnaire des noms de famille en Belgique romane”, etc) Since this one specifically mentions etymology, I figure this could be interesting to number of descendants here in Wisconsin.
Thanks

FamilySearch's Catalog says that the Family History Library in Utah has three copies available on the International B2 floor.
WorldCat says that's the only library on this continent that has it.
There are lots of other name dictionaries out there, as well as tons of websites, all of varying quality. Granted, for Belgium you'll probably need to look in at least two of them (one for Dutch and one for French), and there's the added annoyance of trying to separate language from nationality, but that's still better than traveling thousands of miles for the sake of a single book of unknown usefulness.

I'd check your local library, or nearest library with a good genealogy collection, as WorldCat is not an all-inclusive catalog. See: https://help.oclc.org/Discovery_and_Reference/WorldCat-org/Information_for_authors/Why_does_WorldCat_not_display_a_library_which_owns_my_work
I just verified that my local library holds a copy but it does not appear in the WorldCat listing.

That is actually a different book. But point taken, not everything is in world cat... Actually most things that do not circulate are not in there (or at least nothing from my local library is listed)

The 2 books have the exact same call number - I verified before I posted.
