Search Results Slider Problem
Problem: Once I get search results, I no longer have a short slider to drag. I noticed the problem a few weeks ago. I don't know how long its been going on.
Workaround: I have a 3-button mouse (roller in the center), so I can still navigate down the page. After about 6 to 8 'down' rolls, the short slider will show up for a few seconds, then it disappears and the long gray bar returns.
Details: I usually change my 'show' number to be 100 entries rather than the default of 20. I auto update the Browser. I manually update Windows. I don't know if this problem is due to the Firefox Browser, Windows JS, or the Familysearch code. This problem means I have no visual queue to know if I'm at the top of the list or near the bottom. I have not tried using the trackpad on the laptop, nor a 2 button mouse, nor do I do this type of research on an Iphone.

Hi
Its a setting in Windows 11.
- Open Settings.
- Click on Accessibility.
- Click the Visual effects page on the right side.
- Turn on Always show scrollbars toggle switch.
Hope that helps.

Anne -- Thanks for the advice... spot on perfect. Apparently one of the Win 11 updates reset the setting. Thank You!
