I'm looking for information on my father's service - specifically which ships he sailed on (Navy). He would like to connect with old friends.

What was the time period of your father's service? Ancestry and Fold3 have Navy muster rolls for the WWII period. Ancestry has "Cruise Books" (like school yearbooks for ships) for the Vietnam period and later.
