In batch [MQQR-34H] of the Connecticut Coroner's records,

in the second record in the second image, the date of registration is not given. If I look at the page following (which is marked "For Reference Do Not Index") I see the registration information I need. I looked at the project instructions under "What to Remember about This Project", and the fifth and sixth bullet points indicate that information can be found on adjacent images.

Are these adjacent images only the ones in the batch we are working on, or can we reference images in batches before or after the one we are indexing in order to get the information needed?

If we are not allowed to reference images in adjacent batches, but only the pages in our batch, do we mark, in this case, the date of registration information blank?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

We can't see reference images in shared batches, but it looks like the second record in the second image isn't the whole record and would be continued in the next image (which would be reference image +1). You can use that image for the date.

We are able to use the +1 or -1 Reference Images to pull information for the current image we are working on. The registration date for Mr. Audisio is October 14, 1920.

We can actual see reference images with shared batches.

Go Here and under "Search by" click "Film/Fiche/Image Group Number (DGS)"

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog?oldlink=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.familysearch.org%2Fcatalog-search

You'll need the Image Name from Batch ---> About Batch. The first part will be before the underscore.

    FireShot Capture 009 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

You can include the zeros. I don't, but that's my preference. I recommend writing this number down, you'll need it later.

    FireShot Capture 011 - Explore FamilySearch Catalog of Resources — FamilySearch.org_ - www.familysearch.org.png

That number will lead you here.

    FireShot Capture 010 - Catalog Search Results for 008615324 - FamilySearch.org_ - www.familysearch.org.png

You'll need to scroll to the bottom of the page to search for the image number, which is the second batch. Click on the camera.

    FireShot Capture 015 - FamilySearch Catalog_ Coroner's records, 1883-1932 — FamilySearch.org_ - www.familysearch.org.png

The second group of numbers from the Image Name, 595, is you image number. Type that into the upper left and it will take you to that image. Double click on the image and you'll see the first image in my batch, plus the reference images, or all the images, if you want. Who am I to judge?

I know this is a long post, but it is the way to see reference images on shared batches.
