I don't know if the change impacts ALL record sets. This happens to be from New York City Municipal Deaths, a record set I use almost every day. https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2240477

Previously, the format was

Yikes. That's a disimprovement: yes, a person familiar with FS can figure out that "FS_UDE_BATCH_NBR" probably has something to do with indexing batches, but why are they forcing us to guess?

Luckily it's not affecting every collection: the Slovakia church books and the Hungarian civil registrations still say "Digital Folder Number", not anything in all caps and underlines.

Reminds me of this issue that is still hanging around -

Fortunately, I have failed to find any Techno-babble Document Information so far - I have mostly UK sources with a smattering of US.

Furthermore, I tried five or so widely separated records from New York City Municipal Deaths using the URL supplied by @Áine Ní Donnghaile and mine were all perfectly fine. Whether that's just a small selection or Mr Murphy is conspiring to disrupt my attempt at debugging, I'm not sure.

I believe this was just a temporary glitch. I saw an example of it this morning, but the correct labels are shown now.

Thanks for looking, Adrian. I looked at a dozen or so before I commented, just in case it was a short-term glitch. Maybe it has passed or will pass. Or maybe Murphy is resident here.
