Posting my sister's death
My sister, who was an active member of the family search community, passed away on Monday. I can't discover how to post her death. Since the site still thinks she is living, they will not let me see her person page. What is the process for this?

First, I am so sorry for your loss. Second, only the person who creates a record for a living person can see it. Thus, if 6 people created a person record for her, each one of them will have to mark her deceased. Then there will be possible duplicates, and they can be merged. I am pretty sure there are at least 4 records for me.
Since you indicated you don't see her person page, you may create one if you like. Then you can post any information about her you would like to make public.

Was she a member of the church or not a member. If a member than the ward clerk would mark her church record deceased and then it appears in FamilySearch. If she was not a church member, do you know her log in information or any details to help locate her account. One suggestion if she was adding sources or information to the tree you might be able to see her username or her profile name that way. I would call the help number (in the USA it is 1-866-406-1830 and work with someone one on one to see if you can get her account marked deceased then it will appear in Familysearch with any non private memories she had attached.
