How can you even begin to look for ancestors when your deceased father was adopted and all you have is his adopted name, his wife's name (YOUR MOTHER'S also deceased)? After a DNA I find several 3rd. cousins and others further away.

First do your DNA every place you can and learn how to use it to find relatives. Second, join FaceBook groups that specialize in finding birth families.
