Email Links appear in Wrong Language... lead to unsubscribing from emails.
I really would like to keep getting emails from Family Search however when I click on links in the emails I receive to discover my family members I am often logged into my Family Search page but it displays in another language.
The latest email I received that did this went to this link and appeared in an unknown language without an option to change my language back to my default/english.
https://ancestors.familysearch.org/LV9Z-Y75/m-rebecca-johns-1854-1914
Because of this I am unsubscribe from all FamilySearch.com emails because when my account comes up in another language I feel it has been compromised and I feel I need to keep changing my password to keep it secure.
If this issue should be fixed please let me know so I can subscribe to receive family search info emails again.
Thanks.

It has nothing to do with your account and its security: for some inexplicable reason, that link is coming up in Latvian for me, too.
Oh, oof, this is Really, Really Weird: it's interpreting the first two characters of her ID as a language code. When I went to her husband's Discovery page, it stayed in Latvian because it had inserted an "/lv/" after the .org (https://ancestors.familysearch.org/lv/K4T2-6X7/david-ellerson-knight-1854-1935).
If I stick "/en/" into her page's URL, it finally switches to English: https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/LV9Z-Y75/m-rebecca-johns-1854-1914.
So it looks like what's happening is that there's a semi-optional language code in the Discovery page's URL format, but omitting it can result in Bad Things if the PID happens to start with characters that match a language code.
Most of the codes I tried (cs, fr, hr, pl, pt) did not occur as the first two letters of the PIDs of the first thousand or so John Smiths that Find offered.
I think the Discovery pages aren't offered in all of the languages of the main FS page globe-icon list: MSS5-W7G and MSQP-LWY did not switch to Malay, and MNLY-163 did not switch to Mongolian.
However, MG6B-WD7 switched to Malagasy, NL88-KPT switched to Dutch, and as you experienced, LV9Z-Y75 switched to Latvian.
In other words, the process that generates those emails needs to be set to not skip the "/en/" in those Discovery page URLs.

Thank you!! Because when I link from my account, it is in english. Only the email link relative comes up in another language. I enjoy the emails re new discoveries, but will disregard the incorrect language and follow the hints provided in email after i sign in to my account. I wasnt worried my account was compromised, only that I had wrong info included with my relative (she wasnt Latvian and that was apparently the language due to her ID being "read" by computer) Thanks again. all has been explained and I understand!
