Can someone please confirm that this batch is indexed correctly? Specifically the

Hi Lisa Kay. The batch is done correctly. While we can't see reference images on shared batches, I am sure you took that 1950 date from the affidavit of witness statement. (I calculated the individuals age and birth year and know the this document must be from 1950. )

Thank you. I did take that date from the reference images. I forgot that you couldn't see them on a shared batch.
Will you please check this next batch as well? The name on image 1 is confusing. I'm not sure if the ( ) around the name are indicating a maiden name or variation of spelling. Did I do image 1 correctly?

Yes, it is perfect the way you did it! Most likely it is a variation of spelling and a name change.
I think you could use Female on this since she is a housewife and a widow (both "evidence in the language" of a female in 1938).
