How to report incomplete upload of NARA microfilm roll
I was just looking through NARA Series M237, Roll 188 (Passenger Lists of Vessels arriving at New York from 3 Oct 1858 to 9 Nov 1858), which corresponds to FHL 175544 / DGS 4679856.
On FamilySearch, the roll only contains 297 frames, ending with list 1019 on 23 Oct 1858: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939V-5RBR-Z
On archive.org, the same roll contains 502 frames, ending with list 1065 on 9 Nov 1858: https://archive.org/details/passengerlistsoo0188unix/page/n291/mode/1up
I looked to see if the missing frames may have gotten uploaded with the subsequent roll (#189) but that was not the case. While there can be minor discrepancies in the number of frames digitized from a given roll by various archives, both should contain the same number of passenger lists spanning the same range of dates as the original film. How do I report the incomplete upload?

@tyams When you find these things, you can actually report them the same way I did. Sign in to FamilySearch.org. Click Search and then Images, Below the Place search box, click More Options. Find the Image Group Number (DGS) field and enter the DGS number (7682522). Click Search. On the left side of the screen, click Feedback. Click a face. Fill in the form to report the problem. It goes directly to the group that works on maintaining/fixing record images.
Apparently some folks don't see the Feedback button--probably because of browser add-ons, pop-up blockers, or other browser extras. If you don't see it, let me know and I'll submit the report for you.

@tyams Thank you for reporting that incomplete digitization of the passenger lists on DGS 4679856. We will report it. We can't predict how long it might take for the missing images to be available since it will require some some re-scanning. Fortunately, you can use the images from NARA in the mean time.

Thank you @N Tychonievich! I've been working on an immigration project related to my hometown and keep stumbling upon missing images. I also noticed some missing frames on NARA Series M272, Roll 2 (Quarterly abstracts of passenger lists of vessels arriving at New Orleans 2 Jan 1838 - 30 Sep 1845), which corresponds to FHL 200236 / DGS 7682522. In that instance, the missing frames are more scattered throughout, though it particularly affects Dec 1840 arrivals. The digitized images on FamilySearch skip from Dec 3 to Dec 26 but at the library, I'm able to see the corresponding intervening arrivals on Ancestry.com.

Thanks again @N Tychonievich, I could not previously find a page that was in anyway related to the rolls which included a Feedback button. It's not on the page with the image viewer, nor is it on the catalog entry. I suppose the current side button can be difficult to integrate into pages without impacting visibility or interaction of content.
