Keep all the info of a deleted person

I need to verify some information on a deleted person, in this case a source. I realize that information is now merged into the existing person, but I need to see what was attached to the deleted person only. Why not keep all the information intact that was originally with that person before being deleted.

Every bit is in the change log for the deleted person, included every person merged into that deleted person which you also sometimes need to check.

It would be more convenient to still be able to see the most recent information on that deleted person if they had constructed the the deleted person's page to show all of that. But I haven't found it to be too big of a loss since if you are really evaluating a deleted person, you need to know not just the most recent information but all the information that person had through the profile's history.

I'm pretty sure this request has been made several times in the past, so maybe it is on the list of improvements somewhere.
