Hello,

My Father's grandparents are showing as his parent, how can I change this?

Someone went into my tree and made changes, is this normal?

Thanks for help in advance

Dale

The FamilySearch Family Tree is a single collaborative tree. Anyone who logs into the website can make changes to any deceased profile.

Most people make changes with good intentions, but mistakes can happen. We can either correct the errors by collaborating with the other contributor(s) or on our own. The good news is that every change is tracked in the change log, down the right side of each profile. You can see exactly which contributor made each change. And, you can contact each contributor, if you wish, by private message, by clicking on the username. You can also reverse any change from the change log.

If you are new to the FamilySearch Family Tree, you may want to spend some time reading the how-to articles in the Help Center.
