Some time back I found a marriage record of Joseph Heinlein to Kunigunda Fetsch.

Date was 11/8/1891 I don't know what borough in NY. I neglected to keep a copy of the record and can't seem to find the site again. It may have been through Ancestry but my subscription expired.

His father was George and his mother Maria Vetter, born Oberfranken.

Her father was John and mother Catherine Pfardenhauer born Bavaria.

Any help appreciated. Thank you. Irene

For future reference, marriages for New York City (the 5 boroughs) are held separately from NY State records. And some church marriages were never registered with the city or the state.

They married at St Leonard's of Port Maurice in Brooklyn. The record is indexed on https://www.germangenealogygroup.com/records-search/church_marriages.php and you can request a copy following the instructions on that page, in writing, with a donation.
