How do I report an error when the field cannot be edited?

The initials and gender are mixed in this record.
F BEATTIE is listed as WIFE, when in fact HE is the husband
M A BEATTIE is listed as husband of F Beattie when in fact she is the wife.
In the record for the deceased daughter Anastasia Margaret Beattie the parents genders are swapped
Is this how we get the original record changed?

@MTarr, no, if the "edit" button is not available, then the index cannot be corrected. They are continually working on expanding index corrections to more collections, but FS does not employ anyone for the task of fixing individual index entries. (Problems that affect large numbers of indexed records are sometimes addressed, but it can take years.)
You can attach the records to the correct people even if the genders or roles are incorrectly indexed. You can either not argue with Source Linker, attaching the records by role rather than by name (and making a note of this in the attached source), or you can use the profile ID numbers and the "Change" drop-downs to get Source Linker to line up the names correctly (making a note of the incorrect roles in the attached source).
I know it's annoying when an index gets things wrong, but keep in mind that the index is not the data. It is merely a finding aid for the data. The index has served its purpose: you found the record.
