I would like to know why view all was removed from the tree landscape view?
It was much easier to click on view all hints on the landscape view of the hints and profile with all hints would open into another tab. Why change something that works well? It is still available on descendent view but it doesn't stay open where you are working if you refresh the page.

It's still there some of the time. Here is the descendancy chart for someone with five hints:
Here is someone with three hints which is the maximum that will show up in the pop up:
Here are the same two people in new landscape version:
Here is Maritte in the old landscape version:
The change is that someone decided that if you can see all the available hints already, there is no need to "Show [them] All."
If you find that it is easier to work with these hint from the full Research Helps page, which is where Show All takes you:
even if there are just 1, 2, or 3 hints, then you should clearly describe your workflow and explain why that Show All button would be valuable to most users when a person only has three or less hints and post your explanation to the Tree Pedigree Group here: https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/320-tree-pedigree-views where the developers and programmers will see it. You will have to join the group to post to it.
Now is the best time to make such a request while they are still actively working on the design and programming for the page.

I also still see multiple Record Hints in new Pedigree tree view:
Check your Landscape tree view Settings/Options to assure they are showing. If there are more than one hint - I am seeing that they do show when selecting the hint icon:
The other thing that has changed - when clicking on the person link (their name) - the person side card (or whatever you want to call that column that pops up on the right-hand side) appears. From there viewing the person page of course will show you the matching list of hints.
I have not run across a hint indicator that does not show the appropriate/same amount of hints the person page does.

i have always went to tree landscape from the profile I was working on to find all of their descendants (and see all of their hints), I duplicate the page so I can go back to the original place I started. When I have the duplicate page up I click on the hint and go down to show all, which automatically opens to all of the hints listed. I duplicate that page and go to the profile person details page, working each resource, updating each side as I work through the records. The change has created a much more complicated way than before. The show all always helped keep my area of work, therefore, not going down rabbit holes

@happygen Sounds good. But please post this at: https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/320-tree-pedigree-views also. We're just users and the occasional moderator here. The developers will get your suggestion quicker if you post where they are found.

@happygen Why change something if it is working? Maybe this will help you and others. As technology changes, in order for FamilySearch to keep up, changes have to be made. I know it is hard when we are used to things being a certain way, but it is something that FamilySearch needs to do in order to keep the site moving forward with all the changes in technology.

@Shannon Potter Wilcox Thanks for chiming in. It's alway good to have some perspective from the moderators.
In this post, however, the concern is not really with the website changes required by changing technology per se. It is questioning the design choice to have "Show All" present in the landscape pedigree pop up card if there are four or more hints on a person but to not have it show if there are three or fewer hints. For @happygen, having "Show All" be there even if there is just one hint has value. The programming change would be to not test whether to display "Show All" or not but rather just alway display it.
