Is there any connection between the Heron and Graham fmilies? My great-grandfather, Henry Graham, named his sons Heron-Graham and lived at a place called Herndale n Jamaica, but I can't figure out why.

What was the grandmothers maiden name? In certain parts of the world women would give their maiden surname as the child’s middle name

Henry Graham's wife was Eliza Salomon, I'm told. I just found out that she may have been from Paris, France. My father once said she was a gypsy, but an (older) uncle said that was nonsense, that she was Jewish. And that's all I can find out about her. I searched for an Eliza Heron in that time period (1820-1890) but came up empty.
