Stephen Lawrence B 1805 ERROR
There is an error in my family tree . The Stephen Lawrence B 1805 , is NOT the father of my great grandfather Joseph Macey Lawrence of Kent UK This error is to be found on several trees. This has caused much confusion and a waste of time and resources . Would you please remedy this mistake ?

@carlKent, you appear to have missed a very important detail: the Family Tree on FamilySearch is a collaborative, open-edit tree. All of the data in it is contributed by users exactly like you and me, and other than a few very narrow areas (such as read-only and private profiles), FamilySearch staff have nothing to do with any of it.
Another way to put it: if there is an error, you can fix it.

Looking at his Details page indicates this profile certainly needs a fair bit of work. However, the change log shows that on April 19 2022 a Lynn1 erroneously merged what appears to be the correct profile of "your" Stephen - 9N2Z-XW7 - with L1BL-KZF. You will need to "Restore Person" from the page of the deleted record and work from there.
If you need any help with this, please return here and someone should be able to assist. Otherwise, as Julia says, there is no onus on any member of the FamilySearch staff to fix this.
When things go badly wrong, as in this case, we have the responsibility for putting things right - otherwise, the errors are likely to remain as they stand.
