Hi! I seem to have a hard time finding the record of my husband. He also has a family search account and he just won't appear when I search for him regardless of searching by name or ID number. Can someone suggest what I do?

@alyssakaisercaburianroa1 Currently you can only add a duplicate/placeholder profile of any Living person - to make that person's pedigree connect to deceased ancestors visible. Since your husband has a FamilySearch account his ID will be different than any other user entering him into Family Tree. This is the current policy of FamilySearch - to protect Living person IDs.

I believe Rootstech 2023 announced that there will be a Living family sharing feature introduced - so you have two options - 1. enter a duplicate 2. wait for the ID/sharing feature to be implemented (probably within the next year or so).
