In Italian batch [MS42-KKM] in the third record on the first page,

there is a handwritten message which I would guess means that the father's name is not Antonio Paolangioli, but Antonio Paolangeli. However, I am not sure, and would love to know for sure what is written there if someone on the forum can help me.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

    @cathleenmariestutzman1 I double-checked with an Italian-speaking friend.

    Quote his answer:

    The margin note corrects the surname: ""rectified where it says "Paolangioli Antonio" must read "Paolangeli Antonio" Year 1940 n. 43 Series B Part 2 Then the notation is signed of 21-Oct-1953 (the date the margin note was placed.)

    Note, such a correction changes Vittorio's surname as well.

    The correction was made in 1940 to this 1922 birth.

    End quote.

    Hope this helps!
