I am having problems with adding my wife

I have my wifes id but it wont let me add her to my tree. This is a confusing site and I do not want to create duplicate ids and that is the only option I am finding.

I presume your wife is living. In that case, creating a duplicate is the only option, if you want to have her connected to your PID.

The living are protected for reasons of privacy. Only the person who created the profile can see it, for living persons.
