Good people , help !!!

Where do I report this ? the image is 2 pages and they make up the record. The second page is slightly offset so the field does not keep each rows data alignment. Therefore the date of birth is wrong as it is for the person on the row above. The volunteer has therefore captured it wrong. As it is close to the bottom of the page one has to count the rows from the bottom up for the left page and then the right page to line up the correct data and then capture the correct image index data.

regards

Brett

"South Africa, Church of the Province of South Africa, Parish Registers, 1801-2004," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GT7B-S3XD?cc=1468076&wc=SFVW-3T5%3A44975801%2C52325201%2C58673701%2C58679201 : 1 September 2021), South Africa > Transvaal > Johannesburg, St George > Baptisms with index 1887-1939 > image 126 of 129; William Cullen Library, Wits University, Johannesburg.

    Lilian Blanche Woolley1891 -

    Birth 2 Jul 1891

    Baptism 17 Aug 1891

    Maraisburg, Roodepoort, Transvaal, South Africa

On the right hand page count 4 rows from the bottom to find Lilian Blanche Woolley1891 and on the left page do the same and you will find this is the correct data for indexing correction below.

Therefore the correct dates should be

    Lilian Blanche Woolley1891 -

    Birth 16 May 1891

    Baptism 23 Aug 1891

    Johannesburg , Transvaal, South Africa

    thank you

You can often fix errors like these when the Edit button is blue rather than grayed out on the record page. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:68FF-111S

Clicking "Edit" will open a box with fields that are available to be changed. Click the edit box to the left to of the info to make corrections in that field.
