Record with no Image Index information
Good day,
I came across the following record/image, on the Image Index tab it says "No indexes are available."
Can I index this image?
I tried to search for the collection on the indexing section, but could not find it.

Nope.
Even within existing indexing projects, indexers cannot choose specific images to work on; the system "hands them out" at random.
Setting up an indexing project is a highly non-trivial endeavor: it involves contract negotiations and all sorts of pre-processing work. FamilySearch does not offer any sort of "user requests" queue for indexing (I think just to simplify life, if nothing else).
However, since the image is unindexed, the "Attach to Family Tree" button is available. With it, you can attach the image in one fell swoop to the Family Tree profiles of the person, her spouse, and their children, and the best part is, if you type in a description (such as a transcription or summary) and later notice a typo in it, you'll only need to correct it once: the button creates a linked set of instances of the same source, so fixing it on one person's profile fixes it on every profile it's attached to.

There was a presentation, by FamilySearch, last week, and one of the first comments from the presenter "Over 70% of the records on FamilySearch are not yet indexed."
