This is a record for the marriage of Samuel May MY4F-MPL and Catherine Connor 9D5D-2ZC , my 3rd great grandparents. I am not very good at indexing but I tried. I attached the whole page, and the last photo has the section on my family duplicated twice, the top is by attempt at indexing, and I put blue boxes around the parts I am struggling with.

I keep seeing something like lui X mark on my family? And the last box, I don't understand the context of the Provision with all the numbers after. I also don't know William's last name. I believe some of the people mentioned are McCann LY5G-878 and McKeown L1SM-XFZ .

Thanks in advance!

Not an indexing question, really, @Jessica Fleck. I believe you want help understanding what the record tells you. It's always better to provide the URL to the record, instead of screenshots, to allow us to have a better view of the record.

With your boxes and highlighting, it's more difficult for us to read the registration form.

The provisions of the Act refers to the regulations for civil registration of marriages in Ireland. A short explanation: https://familytreemagazine.com/heritage/irish/history-of-irish-civil-registration/

The record is found at https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1850/09384/5398878.pdf

The father of the bride is Robert Connor, rather than Albert.

The x indicates that the person could not read/write and "signed by mark." On a legal form, such as a marriage, it is usually written with "his" (or her) above the x and "mark" below the x.
