    The poet's name was Wilfred Owen....not Owens. Contrary to your assessment of him being one of the "early voices," Owen is most definitely considered one of the "later poets." Unlike the "early voices" who painted a patriotic, flowery, unrealistic portrait of war, Owen and his kind did the opposite...they presented the truth. They boldly wrote of the hideous reality of war, some more graphically than others.
