AI is in the news a lot right now. I wonder if/how this will affect FamilySearch and Indexing. AI has been so helpful in speeding up indexing of records.

    Yep indeed the AI Reverse indexing is helping with normal indexing to so the person does not have to struggle of reading it so Plus I am working on the AI Reverse indexing to as in teaching the computer how to read and write to plus the Tech is moving great fast pace that in the years time then people wont need to do indexing as in manual putting the data in the AI will take care of that for you to which will make the process a lot quicker to and easer to plus the lord work is hasting and the Tech is moving greater faster pace to.

    AI has also made a lot of mistakes that make a researchers' task that much more difficult. What is "normal" to one is not necessarily "normal" for someone else. Among the important things in Indexing are read and write instructions, read and even write in cursive, to follow project instructions, have a basic education in the "3 R's" and to pay attention to history and culture during your educative , formative years. Just sayin'.
