I have found mistakes that have been made in the Census repor.,So to the ones who are adding the census it is not fact.

The Family Tree on FamilySearch is an open-edit collaborative tree, intended to have one and only one profile per deceased person.

If you want to work on something strictly on your own, please don't do it in the communal tree. Use one of the individual-tree sites or an offline genealogy program or application.

As Julia already stated - this is a collaborative family tree application - where millions of users all have access to a common collection of over a billion person records.

It was never designed for people trying to maintain a private family tree

The collaborative approach has both pros and cons
