    Question: Apple vs. Android

I am a senior missionary in Crestview, Florida. We had an activity this last weekend in town. We set up a booth promoting Family Search. It went well. My friend had an Apple Phone and he could search a person's ancestors and find them and show a fan chart of the person's ancestors. I tried it on my android and couldn't come up with a fan chart. I came up with other things, but not a fan chart. My friend could do it in seconds. It was a great missionary tool for him, but very frustrating for me. Can you help me, an android user?

@Scott Riser It should be a matter of updating the app. I have Android and the FamilySearch Tree app is version 4.6.2 - and it has the fan chart tree view:

Maybe you have updates disabled. You'll need to be connected to Internet. Then go to Help> About (bottom of menu) - if you don't see that version 4.6.2 - go to Google Play Store app> your user account icon (top right)> Manage apps & device> Manage> Installed> FamilySearch Tree - check to see if the update is available.
