Challenges withThurlow Census 1851

When I open the scanned document it does have a title page that says 1851-1852 Census but on page 8 it opens with comments about the 1861 census ...so is the information from 1851 0r 1861? It would appear it is from 1861 as my ancestors resided in Thurlow in 1851 and not in 1861 and they are not included in this census!

Maybe not - this is the Results page for the surname BOLDRICK from the indexed 1851 census forThurlow:

Which appears to match entries on page 25 of the document:

So it appears "1861...62" is the error.

The intro to the book mentions that it was created in 1967 for the town's centennial project. And then apparently copied for this publication in 1993. Every time a record is copied/extracted, the chance for error increases. If the original microfilmed census is available, I would much prefer to use that record.
