How to indicate proper parentage for stepchildren?

I have a son from a previous relationship and my wife has children from her previous. How do I enter the respective children to show their correct parentage connection on my tree? Thank you in advance.

    Within the Family Tree, you have the option to indicate several different types of parental relationships, as shown in this snip:

    I would, however, gently suggest that adding extensive details about your living children or stepchildren may not be a top priority. Any posting of details online is susceptible and should be carefully considered.

    Thank you. I did not find the drop-down menu you indicated, but will look again. The children mentioned are in their 40s and 50s.

    There will be a pencil icon next to the name of the person. Click that to open the edit field.

    Then click "Add Relationship Type"
