What area are you looking for a census? The next census to be released in the United States will be the 1950 census.

In the United Kingdom, they will be published in January 2022.

if thats the case - it would not be "newly listed"

1850 census index has been available for decades.

see all the historical source here:

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list/

and pick the ones you want to search.

what specfically are you looking for on the 1850 census

If you do a search on "1850"

    you will get this result:

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list/?cqs=1850

which then will include the 1850 US census which is here:
