Cannot see my Tree

Why is my tree visible only when Firefox is used? If Google or Edge are used, Family Search treats me as a new person with no tree. How can I make my tree visible with all three browsers?

Maybe try logging in to FamilySearch on the other browsers?

I left the original message, entered below, on 9/8/23 but have not received a response. Where is my tree???

My tree has vanished! I see a references in this discussion to "old" and "new" views but I cannot find an "old" view. What has happened to my very large tree?? I will never have the time to reenter all this data. PLEASE go back to the old view! At least there was something to use! Thank you for your time!

Your comment was made on an unrelated post - https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/526538/#Comment_526538 It may not have been seen. I know I had not seen it.

The FamilySearch Family Tree is a single collaborative tree, not individual trees. If you set yourself as the starting point, when you created your account, any family names you have entered or connected to will be found from that starting point.

If you accidentally logged in with a different account, you won't see any profiles you entered for anyone who is living.

Thank you for your response! My Nov. 22 post was in reference to the absence of my tree when using Firefox (I think, can't remember) although I could retrieve it with Edge. Now it is not there on any browser! I just tried to bring up Firefox but it would not respond. My tree is not present on Edge nor Chrome. What to do? Thank you again!

@Dusti Ide As Áine said, the most probable cause is that you have logged into FamilySearch with a slightly different username that when you originally created your account. Please verify the username you are signed in with. If you need to remember your original account information, please follow the steps for account recovery in the article I forgot my FamilySearch password or username. The article also has a link for contacting Support.

Mod note - The 8 September comment was made in the TREE PEDIGREE VIEWS group. It was in the wrong location and has since been deleted since it exists in this discussion. Two discussions on the same topic were merged here. Title was changed from "Browser Synchrony" to better describe the problem.
