Search both Family Tree and History without retyping

I usually search Family Tree first to see if the ancestor is already there. If not, I then search historical records, but I have to retype the same information. It would be great if I could both the tree and historical record without the double keying. Thanks.

I used the All Collections Search with the terms Claudius Wood born 1890. The results list provided both the person page and historical record possibilities. You can bookmark the page for ease or find as one of the new home page features.

You may want to try the discovery search.

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/discovery/

This searches Family Tree, Historical Records, and even Memories.
