I heard about Living Groups on RootsTech. How long until Living Groups will be rolled out?

Well, according to the presentation you mentioned, the answer is 'hopefully later this year'. According to a different RootsTech presentation on Memories, they said 'hopefully by the first of next year.' The Memories session discussed more about how many different tools and teams would be working together to get this shared space to work and that the sheer effort of coordinating all these tools to have private/shared spaces for living individuals vs the deceased individuals is just taking time because of all the different parts involved.

@Marti 7, Family Group Trees is in a pilot-testing phase as we speak.

They have been talking about a way to share living for a long time, a few year ago it was mentioned in a Rootstech session as on the wish list. They are obviously closer now and they showed some how it would work but if they knew when it would be released they would tell us. Be patient, I am just a user like you but I do not think it will come very quickly. There are lots of living people privacy concerns that must be addressed to make it successful and legal to share (which is one reason we do not see each other's living people now).
