Looking for "Ancestral File" installation CDs (not "Personal Ancestral File")

Hello,

Would anyone happen to know where I can get a copy of the old "Ancestral File" installation CDs? I'm talking about the very old computer program described here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Ancestral_File

And just to be clear, I'm talking about "Ancestral File," not the later "Personal Ancestral File."

An elderly friend of mine loves using Ancestral File, but the computers on which he has it installed are very old and failing. He is aware of the online Ancestral File resource, but he likes being able to download a whole line of names and information at once. He uses it primarily for its information on old royal lines, where it its accuracy is relatively high.

Thank you!

I was not aware there were any installation disks for Ancestral File that were ever available to the public. I'm pretty sure that program was limited to Family History Centers. The CDs mentioned in that article were just the dozens of data CD that held the database before it was moved to be just online as it is today.

I figured out how to transfer the program (turned out to be DOS) onto another computer (Windows 10 32-bit, NTVDM in Legacy Console mode) without installation discs. DOSBox worked, too.

Thank you for thinking about my question. I'm all set, now.
