Can the New Person page be revised to look more like the old one?

It seems to me that the New Person page is too cold looking and spread out. Can we have more of the friendly background shading? Or can I set this myself? Thanks for your time!

There is a group specifically for comments on the new look where the developers are listening to comments. https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/316-new-person-page

Simple solution- simply leave the 'old' one up (or at least make it an option.

Not so simple. Keeping two platforms running is expensive. We've been told that some of the old systems can no longer be supported.

The two layouts are so similar-looking at this point that I find myself needing to check what it says in the top right corner to figure out which one I'm using.
