Remove a daughter from parents

I added a daughter to a set of parents, but later realized that she is not their daughter. How do I remove her from this set of parents? The interesting thing about this is they had a daughter by the exact name and year of birth. I guess that is the reason for confusion. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Just click on the pencil icon alongside her name (where you are finding her positioned against these parents). This will open up a page headed "Parent-Child Relationship". Under "Child" click on "Remove or Replace". If you know the true parents of the individual you mistook as being related, you can use "Replace Parents" to position her under them. Otherwise, click on "Remove Parents", provide a reason statement ("Added to these parents in error"), then "Remove". This will detach her from this set of parents.

Thank you very much for your help and direction. I was able to make that adjustment with the instructions you gave me. I appreciate having that knowledge, but hope to have no further need to use that option. I try to be very careful, but this time I messed up. The mess up is now corrected.

    Thanks so much! Pam
