Is the "Following" list intentionally useless now?

I don't much use the "Following" feature, so I have no idea whether this is a recent change, a bug, or the way it has worked for months, but I tried to use it just now and completely failed. I cannot find a way to get from the Following page to a profile that I'm following that hasn't been recently changed. What am I missing? Is this a bug?

I go to Family Tree - Following, and what I actually get is a list labeled "All Changes", which goes back to September, listing a grand total of 12 changes to three (count 'em, three) profiles.

If I click the button labeled "People I Am Following (21)", I get a popup on which nothing is a link. My only options are to unfollow or add a label to each person.

Was the primary purpose of Following -- an easy/short way to get to certain profiles -- purposely completely removed like this?

I believe I replicated this just now. From the useless page I was presented with, I just clicked on "Options", then "Person" and there was the list of the 1600+ individuals I am currently following. Maybe something has changed, because I thought it was previously just one click to yet from "All Changes", but I have become confused on the last couple of occasions I have tried to switch from one option to the other.

I am currently following 2,308 profiles. Not all have been edited in recent weeks but many have, and I can see quite a long list of profiles and their changes.

My current setting, in the Options tab, in case that helps:
