Cannot delete person that I know is not in my family

You cannot delete a person if you did not add them, but you can detach the person from your family. Or, if appropriate, you can edit the profile to the correct name, dates, places, etc.

I can't figure out how to do either of those things.

Before you try removing the other relationship, please look at the source that was attached back in 2018 that created this relationship. It was the 1930 US Census. Only last month (Jan 2023) did you add Eunice as a relationship to Phillip within the Family Tree. This other relationship has existed in the Tree since 2018. Perhaps the 1930 US Census lists the name of Emma incorrectly - could this really be Eunice? Did Eunice have the children named Winnie and Tillie? If so, then perhaps what is really happening is that Eunice was enumerated incorrectly in the 1930 census with the name of Emma. If this is the case, then you just need to merge the ID for Emma into the ID for Eunice.

I believe that is exactly what happened, and I attempted to merge Emma's ID into Eunice's ID. However, it said I didn't have rights to do that and suggested I submit a request through Family Search, but that whole process just led me to inquire here.
