    I presume you are in the Source Linker. If you hover your mouse over the black triangle, you will see that the record is attached to a PID. You can click through and see the profile where the record is attached. If it is attached to an incorrect person, you can detach it from that profile and then attach it to the person you are researching.

    It may also be that there is a duplicate of your person that needs to be merged.
