In the shared, open-edit Family Tree, only the person who created a profile can delete it, and likewise, in the Genealogies section, only the user who uploaded a file can delete it. Therefore, your tree isn't gone, you just haven't been successful at retrieving it.

I notice that your username says "wilna" (with an 'n'), while you signed your post "Wilma" (with an 'm'). This makes me suspect that what happened is that instead of signing in to your existing account, you inadvertently created a new account -- which of course is not connected to your deceased relatives in the shared Tree.

Did you contribute to the collaborative FamilySearch Family Tree or did you upload a GEDCOM to the Genealogies section?
