Submitting a batch without completing it?

I'm currently indexing land grantors records and there are over 100 entries for this. I started it thinking I could finish it but it's expiring soon. Is there a way to submit it and save the work that I've done or if I submit it without finishing will it lose all the work that I've indexed?

Your work will not be lost either way or if it expires. The next indexer can pick up where you left off. If you submit it though, you will get credit for the entries you have made. It will go to review and they can send it back for reindexing, keeping all the data. If you return it or allow it to expire, no credit will be shown in your progress.
