How to correct the 1850 census where the family was indexed wrong

I was doing my family research and came across my family. The record by the census taker was incorrect and given the surname of the family above. The actual surname is there but the census taker put a ditto mark after the surname, therefore the indexer put the previous surname for my family. How do I correct this information?

Click the word edit just under the name. You'll then see a pop-up window with the option to edit the name.
