Hi Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking your question about a linked person between Ancestry and Family Search. This is an action you need to do on Ancestry. On Ancestry, select the person from your Ancestry tree and then select profile. At the upper right side of the page you will see the Family Search Logo (just to the left of search). Select that and one of the selections on the drop down is disconnect person from Family Search. Hope this helps. If you need more help, please consult Ancestry Help.

I think this linking feature on Ancestry.com is available only to LDS members. @Wayland K Adams, is that correct?

@dontiknowyou yes, you are correct, this feature is only available to LDS members who have linked their ancestry and family search accounts together. In this particular case, the accounts were already linked.

Not sure who can access linking. But your answer was perfect. I was able to quickly detach wrong person and attach correct person.

@malcott Glad you could get the problem solved. Linking to individual records is only available to LDS members who have linked their ancestry and family search accounts together.
