@Don Hale What type of file are you trying to open?

Hi: I can no longer open IGI files for my ancestors. I've tried to follow instructions but Family Search states I've timed out

@Don Hale Please forgive my ignorance on the matter. I want to help! I am assuming you have the file on your computer and are unable to open it, correct? I hope this helps: have you tried searching the IGI index online? It may have what you are looking for. Here is the link: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/igi
