US, Iowa—WWI Applications, 1923–1927 [Part A] [MQ3W-PM4]
Hi everyone, I am working on project: US, Iowa—WWI Applications, 1923–1927 [Part A][MQ3W-PM4]. Do I type in all the information on image 1 rather than image 2? I believe according to the instructions, I put whatever information I can from image 2 onto image 1 even though they are two different documents. If that is the case, is there any need to index image two if all of that information is on image one?

@jamesleeskinner1 Sorry I could not open this batch - perhaps you have already submitted it?

James, if you go to the Project Instructions and look at the examples of how to index these, they'll tell you that any indexable information on Image 2 (which is the back of the document and will give the application place and date), should be entered on the data entry for Image 1. Then you'll mark Image 2 as No Extractable Data.

Unfortunately, some of my batches have now come with the first page for one individual and the second page for another individual. I don't know whether to get the information from the images you can bring up with the little icon to the right or what to do. I had one batch where the 1st and 2nd images were just swapped, but at least they were the same person. Now they are two different people. Help!!!

I am doing this project also. I enter all info for Image 1 and 2 on page one. For page 2, I answer no recordable information. Then on the next page it has that I selected no recordable information, then the only option to select there is quality control and it opens up a window that says 12 items are missing, submit batch? It won't let me move on to index the next set of images from my batch.

Jbolton, It is my guess that you have accidentally created another set of entries for image #1. Try going to image 1 and check the top of the entry column. If it shows entry 1 of 2 then you will need to delete the second set. If this is the case go to entry 2, then click on the rubbish bin and delete current entry. You should then be able to submit your batch.
I hope my guess is correct.
To get a more definite answer you should share the batch code for the batch you are working on and someone will be able to check your work. The batch code is the group of letters and numbers at the end of the batch title.
Hope this helps🙂
