I was editing the 1950 Census the last few days. I was able to edit may fields I have noticed that today only the last name field is able to be edited. Is there a reason for this? Is the expanded editing coming back?

Hi Joe. The ability to edit historical records sometimes comes and goes, including what fields can be changed. The last tip at the end of the article How do I correct transcription errors in historical records? says, "Consider keeping a personal list of any indexing errors that you cannot fix. You can correct them later when more correction options become available. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this challenge." I would just make a note of the changes you want to make and then check back later to see if more fields are available for editing.
