A red exclamation mark remains after tagging photo, how do I get rid of it

I have tagged photos, sometimes when there are more than 1 person, I still get the red exclamation mark on the memories page. Also, I end up with 2 tags for some people. I'm struggleing with tagging.

After uploading a photo from the Person/Detail page, even though the photo appears to have been tagged, by editing the tag, and in effect, re-tagging the red exclamation point will disappear How do I get rid of the red exclamation point in Memories?

The same thing has happened to me also. Sometimes it just goes away after a while. Several times I’ve had to delete the photo and keep trying. Its super annoying and time consuming. I don’t add photos often because of this

I dont think the red question mark should be preventing anyone from uploading memories. It may be a flaw/bug - but if so - just ignore it . . . no??

I believe there simply may be some delay in the question mark going away.

But I dont know for sure.
